Cup Couture came about as the passion project of Dr. Karen Leong, co-head of Mission Plasticos. Dr. Leong had participated in the Fleur de Bra in 2023 and was inspired to create her own event in her hometown of Orange County. Dr. Leong saw a need to provide services to underserved patients. 

There is a common misconception that in the United States that breast reconstruction post mastectomy is accessible to everyone. However, each year, thousands of women are unable to receive life-changing surgical care for reasons including unstable housing, no health insurance, extremely high co-pays and ineligibility for any publicly sponsored programs. Reshaping Lives Full Circle fills that gap in service, having a major impact not just for each patient we treat, but for their families and on the community as a whole. For every $2,500 raised at this event, we are able to help one woman avoid life-long disfigurement and receive the specialized surgery she could not otherwise afford. Help us make this possible!
